Helen Thatcher is a qualified Vital Development teacher, with extension training for working with The Elderly, Children and Families and Adults with Learning Difficulties. 

She started her teaching career in 1994 teaching English as a Foreign Language, in the UK and abroad. In 2003 she studied to become a Further Education Tutor and began work at City College Brighton and Hove in the department for Adults with learning Difficulties. In her free time she was an active member of a Buddhist group and ran practical meditation courses.

In 2009 she began the three year training as a Vital Development dance and movement practitioner. For the past five years Helen has designed and led a wide variety of courses and classes, for a number of client groups, in different settings.  She is extremely professional and brings a great warmth and empathy to her students.  She has a very motivating and positive approach and her sessions are relaxed, fun and enjoyable.

Helen is a member of The Foundation for Community Dance, and holds Public Liability insurance.
